As I’m trying to re-skin this blog I thought it might be worth upgrading it to 2.5 RC2 so my new style/skin/theme will work with new features and not require meet to remake it when 2.5’s final version is released.
I’ve still got to look in to all the pretty new features but there is plenty of time over this weekend to do so, so please stay tuned.

Or my usual troll through the WWW one of my loverly Google Alert emails pointed me towards a great blog post Microsoft’s Customer Service in reguards to the 360 repiars.
Starting with a tragic tale and then a great goody bag they make it right. Nathanial was your average 360 gamer but the console itself was special, time had been spent on collecting signatures from many famous people linked to the console and its game, but as any good love story the console died. So off for repair….
This console adorned with things representing very special memories held great sentimental value to Nathaniel as you can imagine. Not even taking into account that it had monetary value as well, it was simply a console that he adored. That is why shipping it off to the repair center was not the easiest choice to make. But between that and trying to repair it himself, it was the better option. Taking it apart would have voided the warranty so if his attempts at fixing it had been unsuccessful, he would have been screwed. Unfortunately he still got screwed, but he didn’t know that would happen at this point.
So after much moaning and complaining he finally got the 360 he deservered and more. Does this mean Microsoft will try and keep improving their customer service? or is it just that he got so much attention that they wanted to look good for this one case? Ever 360 gamer should get a random signature on their console and see what happens if it dies…..

After a long while of not doing anything to this place I have finally moved Hunter’s Home to my account which hosts everything else including WDC.
How hopefully I can get this place sorted out and looking good over the easter break. I have, for now removed the gallery. It was too much to hassle to move it from my old hosting account to this one copying over all the images etc. It’ll be replaced at somepoint. I may even use flickr or something instead providing I actually take lots of pictures.

Seems every time I update Wordpress through cPanel it brakes, again its done it and ruined a load of posts and the blogroll down the right. I’ve also lost the categories I can post in so for now I’m going to leave it until I move HH in a couple of weeks.

After entering the world of Podcasts I’ve been looking for NFL podcasts, I covered the Rants & Raves and now I got myself a mention on Bang Cartoon Radio Hour thanks to the thread on LANarchy and a reply from McBain. I don’t even listen to it, until now.
So lets see what happens, sounds good. Just got to find the time to listen. By the way the Zen I mentioned is the Creative Zen VPlus.

It’s been back to uni this week and I’ve finally be able to sit down a listen to some tunes and chat to some friends.
WDC 2007 is over, but be sure to keep your eye out for it coming back stronger than before in 2008. Plans are already in motion for an even better show than what we’ve done. I’ve been able to update Wordpress to use 2.3 though for some reason it still sends text running off to the right
I shall be sorting some designs out over the weekend, I’m going to try and get a Hunter’s Home design sorted out as well as some designs for a hosting company.
I’ve had to cut down my contracted work hours from 20 to 14 due to my new Uni timetable though the timetable does give
some time to actually put aside for assignments etc on to the weekend!

After a fair number of months using Vista I’ve switched back to XP. I don’t know if it was the hard drive or the OS but programs would keep crashing. So to solve both problems I got a new 500GB Western Digital hard drive and reinstalled XP. So far so good. It’s good to be back, but I’m sure I’ll move over again in the future.

I’ve been a Creative guy for a while, my first MP3 player was a MuVo 64MB which I used until last December. This was replaced
by a Creative Zen V+ 1GB which was great, worked well and lasted up
until a week ago.
A week ago it stopped working, wouldn’t connect to my PC or list and music I had last put on to it. So I took it back and replaced it with an iPod Nano 2GB which was £10 cheaper than the price I paid for my Zen. So far the iPod hasn’t crashed, lost any music I’ve put on it and thankfully iTunes is nice enough to keep track on a few podcasts. I will however be keeping it to my Apple Laptop and not my main PC
This is because I believe Apple products work great with other Apple products and not with Microsoft products and I don’t want my PC filled with crap.
