iPhone
I love my gadgets that much I thought it was time to move away from my MDA Compact III and get an iPhone. I had the MDA for 8 months and it is a great little phone based on WM5 or 6 (when I finally found the t-mobile ROM) and it had GPS built in which is great but I don’t drive so it’ll be sat at home until Sam and I go on a road trip.
I picked the iPhone up from a small o2 shop in Bristol on Saturday. After they confirmed the card in my wallet was ok to buy it with. I then proceeded to “undress” (thanks to a Mr Budd) my iPhone over my lunch break. I was then stuck having to work the rest of the afternoon before being able to head home and play.
As with a lot of iPhone owners I unlocked mine for use on t-mobile. It took about 5 minutes to unlock using ZiPhone, but I have since read some warnings about using it though I haven’t had any problems with 2.5 and 3.0 neither has a friend of mine.
I’m currently enjoying the iPhone, theway it does text messages is pretty neat and a lot better organised than my MDA was. Only thing I’m currently missing is MMS but hopefully there will be a solution soon.
