Guessing Microsoft Aren’t THAT Evil…

Or my usual troll through the WWW one of my loverly Google Alert emails pointed me towards a great blog post Microsoft’s Customer Service in reguards to the 360 repiars.

Starting with a tragic tale and then a great goody bag they make it right. Nathanial was your average 360 gamer but the console itself was special, time had been spent on collecting signatures from many famous people linked to the console and its game, but as any good love story the console died. So off for repair….

This console adorned with things representing very special memories held great sentimental value to Nathaniel as you can imagine. Not even taking into account that it had monetary value as well, it was simply a console that he adored. That is why shipping it off to the repair center was not the easiest choice to make. But between that and trying to repair it himself, it was the better option. Taking it apart would have voided the warranty so if his attempts at fixing it had been unsuccessful, he would have been screwed. Unfortunately he still got screwed, but he didn’t know that would happen at this point.

So after much moaning and complaining he finally got the 360 he deservered and more. Does this mean Microsoft will try and keep improving their customer service? or is it just that he got so much attention that they wanted to look good for this one case? Ever 360 gamer should get a random signature on their console and see what happens if it dies…..
